The Healthcare division focuses on patient monitoring and diagnostic equipment, while the Optoelectronics and Manufacturing division provides specialized electronic components and manufacturing services used in defense, aerospace, medical, and industrial applications. OSI Systems is dedicated to innovation, integrity, accountability, and teamwork, supporting both its customers and employees with cutting-edge technology and comprehensive support systems.
Rapiscan Systems, a part of OSI Systems, Inc., is currently seeking a full-time Receptionist to join their Facilities team at their Torrance, California location. The position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $22.00 to $24.00 based on experience and qualifications. This role is pivotal as the first point of contact at the site, requiring excellent communication skills and a high level of customer service to ensure seamless visitor management and administrative support.
The Receptionist's responsibilities include greeting visitors and vendors in accordance with security protocols, managing visitor sign-in and badge issuance, maintaining the appearance and organization of the lobby and work areas, and supporting the facilities team with supply management including cafeteria and janitorial needs. Additionally, the Receptionist will maintain records for preventive maintenance and work orders, coordinate purchase order requests and vendor services, and assist in the planning and execution of company events and executive meetings.
The role demands meticulous organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate records and timely communications with supervisors and management. The incumbent must uphold the company’s ethical standards and core values, reporting any quality issues promptly to management to facilitate corrective actions. Flexibility to adapt duties as business needs evolve is also essential.
OSI Systems offers a comprehensive total rewards package including potential long-term incentives, discretionary bonuses, employee stock purchase options, and a variety of health and welfare benefits. Employees may access health insurance, dental coverage, disability and life insurance, retirement savings plans including a 401(k), health savings accounts, paid time off for vacations and holidays, as well as leave programs and voluntary benefits. This package fosters a supportive and rewarding work environment, encouraging employee growth and well-being.
