ThedaCare is currently hiring a Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff at their CIN 3 Neenah Center location in Appleton, Wisconsin. This full-time position, scheduled for 40 hours per week during daytime shifts, is essential for maintaining smooth daily operations and enhancing the patient experience. The Receptionist role involves greeting and directing customers either in person or over the phone, providing clerical support such as triaging calls to appropriate team members, handling mail and electronic communications, and ensuring site security through monitoring visitor access. Additionally, this role includes managing room schedules for internal and external meetings to ensure proper availability and setup, as well as ordering and maintaining inventory of office supplies. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a customer service orientation are crucial for success in this role.

Physical demands include the ability to stand, stoop, walk, bend, push, and pull freely, as well as lifting up to 25 pounds. The work environment is office-based, climate controlled, and requires frequent computer and keyboard use involving repetitive motion. This position does not involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Job Requirements

  • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance
  • Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties
  • Use of computers throughout the work day
  • Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers
  • Works in a climate controlled office environment

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • One year of experience in customer service

Job Duties

  • Serves as the first point of contact for ThedaCare to meet customer needs
  • Provides clerical support such as triaging calls to appropriate team members
  • Receives and sorts daily mail, faxes, and e-mails and distributes as appropriate
  • Maintains site security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk by monitoring log books and issuing visitor/contractor badges
  • Maintains room schedule for internal and external customers to ensure rooms are available and set up appropriately
  • Orders office supplies and keeps inventory of stock
