The role of Receptionist at In The Zone is vital to daily operations and serves as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff. This position requires a confident and organized individual who can manage a variety of clerical tasks such as answering and directing phone calls, sorting and distributing mail, and maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area. The Receptionist will also ensure that participant safety is maintained by enforcing sign-in and sign-out procedures and monitoring authorized persons for child pick-up. Attention to detail is critical as the role involves handling delivery logistics, maintaining inventories of supplies, and accurately tracking visitor and call records.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or higher
- ability to adapt to center's needs and hours
- current child/adult CPR and First Aid certification or willing to obtain
- reliable transportation to and from work
- must be eligible and pass MSDH background check
- must be able to type over twenty words per minute
- familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
- able to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs
- able to participate in high-energy activities with students

Job Duties
- Understand and demonstrate attendance and punctuality are vital
- ensure all participants leave only with authorized persons and are signed in and out accurately
