At the Richmond, VA location, Plus One is currently seeking a warm, reliable, and professional Receptionist to join their high-profile fitness center team. This full-time role offers competitive hourly wages ranging between $15 to $22, commensurate with the applicant's education, experience, certifications, and other relevant factors. The Receptionist plays a critical role as the first point of contact for members and guests, embodying the company’s commitment to outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include greeting visitors warmly, managing feedback and concerns with professionalism, handling account inquiries and payments accurately, and fulfilling a variety of front desk administrative duties. Additionally, the Receptionist ensures that the fitness facility maintains a clean, well-stocked environment, juggling inventory management for supplies and retail products to enhance the overall member experience.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to network and engage with clients, guests, and members effectively. Proficiency with basic computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as relevant web applications, is expected. Candidates may also be required to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, for which the company provides reimbursement according to policy. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or receptionist roles preferred
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and handle administrative duties efficiently
  • willingness to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certifications if required
  • reliable, professional, and friendly demeanor
