Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated computer proficiency including data entry and email
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work collaboratively with others

Job Duties
- Provide hospital telecommunication services through telephones, pagers, paging system, radio, or computer
- Connect communication between visitors, callers, staff, patients, and patients' families
- Maintain records related to telecommunications such as long distance phone calls, on-call employees, and pages
- Integrate the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice
- Manage incoming calls and direct them to appropriate departments or personnel
- Greet and assist visitors and patients professionally
- Ensure confidentiality and quality standards are upheld in all communications
