Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated computer proficiency including data entry, word processing, email, and record management
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold safety standards
- Capability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Job Qualifications
- One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management
- Effective organizational and time management skills

Job Duties
- Provide hospital telecommunication services including telephones, pagers, paging system, radio, and computer to connect communication between visitors, callers, staff, patients, and families
- Maintain records related to telecommunications such as long distance phone calls, on-call employees, and pages
- Integrate the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice
- Manage incoming calls and direct them to appropriate personnel or departments
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments or meetings
- Maintain confidentiality and safety standards while communicating
- Work collaboratively and professionally with other hospital staff members
