In your role as receptionist, you will handle a variety of administrative and clerical duties vital to the daily function of the nursing home. This includes greeting and directing all visitors and vendors, managing incoming phone calls, tracking facility activities through typed logs, and assisting with the applicant intake process for new hires. Your ability to multitask and manage information accurately will help the nursing home's management team provide outstanding care to our residents. The position requires proficiency in typing and handling telephone systems, along with a professional demeanor and excellent organizational skills. Experience in healthcare or a similar front desk role is preferred, providing you with a foundation to effectively support our team's operations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience preferred
  • Typing skills with ability to type 45 net words per minute
  • Ability to answer and manage telephone calls professionally
  • Passing score on Assessment Survey Test

Job Duties

  • Greet and direct visitors vendors and family members of residents
  • Answer telephone calls to the main telephone for the facility
  • Accept applications for employment from candidates and notify the Director of Nursing or designee of the applicant's presence
  • Type facility log sheets
  • Provide clerical support services as assigned
