Job Description

Supercuts is one of the most recognized and respected brands in the salon industry. Since its inception in 1975, Supercuts has continually set the standard for quality haircare services and customer experience. As a leader in the salon industry, Supercuts prides itself on offering its clients a range of professional services including haircuts, color treatments, highlights, waxing, and other specialty services. The brand is known for its innovative proprietary tools and techniques designed to deliver exceptional results quickly and efficiently. The no-appointment-necessary policy and the convenience of online or phone check-ins make it accessible and customer-friendly, helping to maintain its position as an industry leader.

Supercuts operates as a network of independently owned franchise salons under Regis Corporation, granting franchisees the autonomy to manage wages, staffing, and benefits to best suit their local market. This decentralized business model ensures that each salon maintains strong community ties and flexibility in meeting local customer needs, all while upholding the high standards and core brand values of Supercuts.

Within this thriving company, the role of a Supercuts Receptionist is pivotal. Receptionists are the first point of contact for guests entering the salon and play a critical role in maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere. The receptionist's responsibilities extend beyond administrative support to actively contributing to marketing efforts and business growth. Providing excellent guest service is essential, as is managing salon expenses and completing all role-specific tasks efficiently and accurately. This role requires a dynamic individual who can thrive in a fast-paced salon environment, using strong interpersonal and organizational skills to juggle multiple duties and maintain smooth salon operations.

Supercuts offers significant career growth opportunities and prioritizes the development of each team member. Stylists and receptionists alike are supported through comprehensive training programs focused on enhancing technical skills, customer service, and career advancement paths. As part of the Supercuts team, receptionists are welcomed into a community dedicated to their professional success and to delivering the highest quality experience to every guest. Working hours require flexibility, including availability for evenings and weekends, reflecting the salon's commitment to customer convenience.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, has a positive attitude, and possesses strong time management and multitasking abilities. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills are important to keep operations running smoothly. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, occasional lifting, and the capacity to work in an environment with various salon chemicals and fragrances. The role demands excellent communication skills to clearly understand and convey guest needs and service options. Being part of Supercuts means joining a successful, supportive, and customer-focused salon brand dedicated to innovation and quality since 1975.
