Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven work experience as a receptionist or front office representative
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • experience with office equipment such as fax machines and printers
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • ability to maintain a professional attitude and appearance
  • customer service-oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • professional attitude and appearance
  • solid written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • excellent organizational skills
  • multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • customer service attitude

Job Duties

  • Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate
  • transfers a caller to an associate’s voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable
  • provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information
  • greets and directs visitors to the necessary associate
  • maintains visitor and package tracking logs and ensures all necessary NDAs are signed
  • receives, sorts and forwards incoming packages (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
  • coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
  • performs miscellaneous administrative tasks for various departments
  • assists with other related clerical duties as assigned
