The role of Receptionist at this automotive dealership is vital as the first point of contact for customers via phone. The receptionist is responsible for answering all incoming calls in a courteous, prompt, and professional manner, ensuring that each caller receives a pleasant first impression. This position requires excellent telephone etiquette and exceptional organizational skills to route calls to appropriate departments seamlessly. The receptionist also manages written messages for staff, coordinates inquiries, and assists in office clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining records. Additionally, the role involves addressing customer concerns and escalating issues as necessary to uphold the highest level of customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and possess prior customer service or retail experience; automotive dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills, a friendly disposition, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential traits. This position also requires basic computer proficiency including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Professional appearance and work ethic are expected, alongside the ability to maintain composure under stress and support a collaborative team atmosphere. Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are considered a plus, as they enhance communication with a broader customer base. Job Duties

  • Answer all incoming calls according to company policies with exceptional telephone skills
  • direct phone calls to appropriate parties
  • take written messages for occupied personnel and notify them promptly
  • coordinate questions and issues with appropriate department personnel
