Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Prior coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred
Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances
Ability to manage tasks and time effectively without compromising quality
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Capability to handle confidential patient records with discretion
Reliable and self-motivated with ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances
Energetic self-starter with a results-oriented mindset
Empathetic and flexible patient advocate

Job Duties

Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
Support the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) process by helping to get patients into the office and ensuring their comfort during visits
Schedule appointments effectively to facilitate smooth, productive days for healthcare providers
Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area during wait times
Answer telephones promptly and manage all calls efficiently
Complete daily front office checklist tasks
Post payments to patient accounts following company policies
Serve as subject matter expert in practice management systems related to patient registration and e-check in
Facilitate efficient patient check in, obtaining necessary consents and promptly notifying back office of patient arrivals
Confirm all patient appointments according to office confirmation policies
Return and resolve patient messages received from the Contact Center in a timely manner
Participate actively in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required gatherings
Understand business imperatives and how the role impacts metrics
Uphold stewardship of the PDS Brand by making decisions aligned with its framework
Support clinicians in educating patients about the Mouth-Body Connection
Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies
Ensure compliance with company, state, federal, and regulatory policies
Perform other duties as assigned
