Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completed a secretarial science program or have at least six months experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Knowledge of post-acute care laws and regulations
- Ability to implement departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information
- Follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- Ability to adhere to Life Care's Code of Conduct and complete mandatory training
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities
- Ability to make independent decisions when appropriate
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in line with Life Care standards
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person as well as via phone in a friendly and professional manner
- Effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Assist in the evacuation of patients
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
- Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
