The Receptionist role at Neches Federal Credit Union is a vital front-facing position responsible for providing a dynamic and welcoming service experience to all members. The receptionist acts as the initial point of contact, ensuring that members are greeted warmly and directed efficiently to the appropriate departments. This role demands excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly and positive attitude, and the ability to conduct oneself with empathy, courtesy, and tact in all member interactions. The ideal candidate will bring experience in customer service, demonstrate reliability through punctual attendance and dependable work habits, and possess the flexibility to handle a busy, multi-line telephone system with ease.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, based at the Administration location in Port Neches, and involves a 40-hour workweek with specific scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday from 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM, Fridays from either 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM or 9:15 AM to 6:15 PM, as well as rotating Saturday morning shifts from 6:45 AM to 10:15 AM. This role is perfect for someone who is capable of working independently and taking initiative within a fast-paced environment, while also thriving within a collaborative team that supports the credit union's mission and values.

Key responsibilities include greeting and guiding members, answering multi-line telephone systems professionally, and managing the sorting and distribution of incoming mail. Overall, the receptionist position is critical to maintaining the high standard of service that Neches Federal Credit Union is committed to, acting as the welcoming face of the credit union, and helping to facilitate the seamless experience that members expect.

Job Requirements
