This law firm is well-regarded within the legal community for its commitment to providing excellent legal services and maintaining a professional, client-focused atmosphere. The firm values professionalism, discretion, and organization in every aspect of their work environment. As a law firm operating in a bustling part of Austin, it is essential that the front desk operations run smoothly to create a positive and welcoming impression for all clients, visitors, and staff members who enter the premises.
The Receptionist / Office Admin will serve as the first point of contact, embodying the firm’s dedication to professionalism and client service. This role demands a highly organized, detail-oriented individual capable of managing numerous tasks efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and a warm demeanor. Candidates with prior experience in a law firm or professional services setting will find this position particularly well-suited to their background.
This is a full-time, permanent position based onsite in downtown Austin, offering a competitive base salary of $55,000 to $60,000 annually. The Receptionist / Office Admin will be responsible for greeting clients and visitors, answering and directing incoming calls, and organizing the reception area to ensure it is clean and inviting. Beyond these front desk responsibilities, the role also includes managing mail and courier services, overseeing conference room scheduling and meeting support, and providing general administrative assistance to attorneys and other team members.
Beyond typical receptionist duties, this position involves operational coordination such as monitoring office supplies, liaising with vendors, assisting with office events and meetings, and reporting any facility or maintenance issues to the appropriate department. The candidate must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as familiarity with multi-line phone systems and document management platforms, are important for success in this role.
Security and confidentiality are top priorities in the legal field, and this role carries the responsibility of safeguarding sensitive firm and client information at all times. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, adaptable team player with strong client service skills and the physical capability to handle certain office tasks that may require lifting up to 25 pounds.
Overall, this position offers an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious law firm with a supportive work environment, competitive compensation, and the chance to develop administrative skills within a professional legal setting. The HT Group encourages candidates with a commitment to excellence and a passion for client service to apply for this rewarding Receptionist / Office Admin role.
