This role is for a Receptionist position, which serves as the front line and primary point of contact for employees, clients, and visitors entering the office. The Receptionist will be based onsite at the firm’s beautiful Midtown, Manhattan location, where they will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall office experience through warmth, professionalism, and operational efficiency. This position involves managing multiple communication channels, overseeing guest check-in processes, coordinating internal schedules, and supporting various administrative and concierge-style tasks.
As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the firm's values of inclusivity and excellence. You will act as the central hub for information flow, communication, and guest services. This position requires a strong ability to handle competing priorities with grace and clarity, provide dependable support to senior leadership, and maintain an organized, professional front desk operation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems are key competencies for success in this position. The role also involves collaborating closely with different departments, including the Founder/CEO's Office and Executive Support Teams, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of daily activities.

Job Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, visitors, and clients entering the office
- oversee guest check-in, ensure proper routing, and communicate arrivals to internal teams
- manage a multi-line phone system, screen sales outreach, and direct calls appropriately
- coordinate conference room bookings, catering needs, and scheduling requests in partnership with administrative and café teams
- use MS Office daily for calendars, room reservations, and internal communications
- support cross-departmental projects and assist with ad hoc tasks as needs arise
- provide concierge-style support including dining reservations, car service coordination, and other executive requests
- maintain subscriptions and office resources such as newspapers and magazines
- direct employees to Security, Helpdesk, Facilities, or HR contacts when needed
- partner closely with the Founder/CEO’s Office, Executive Support Team, and administrative colleagues
