Camping World is currently seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking Receptionist to join their expanding team. This role is an essential frontline position, serving as the first point of contact for all customers entering the establishment. The Receptionist will play a crucial part in shaping the initial impression of the company, setting the tone for a positive and welcoming customer experience from the moment visitors step in. In this position, the successful candidate will greet and welcome customers warmly, manage VIP appointment check-ins, and direct clients to the appropriate team members efficiently. Additionally, the Receptionist will coordinate front desk activities including answering incoming phone calls, directing them appropriately, and tracking sales calls using the company’s CRM system. This role requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong commitment to maintaining a superior standard of service. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, leadership capability, and a personal sense of responsibility to contribute effectively to the team’s overall success.

Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a high-standard customer service environment preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Strong ability to take initiative, coupled with leadership skills and the ability to take charge of a situation
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and reliability, with the desire to work as an integral member of a team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base
  • Computer skills: MS Office
  • May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices

Job Duties

  • First point of contact for customers
  • Greet and welcome customers
