Job Duties

  • Manages the telephone and switchboard
  • Operate paging/telephone system as required
  • Answers calls timely and courteously
  • Directs calls promptly and accurately
  • Assists visitors upon arrival by greeting them courteously
  • Provides directions or contacts the person visitors have come to see
  • Ensures all visitors and vendors sign in
  • Demonstrates customer service skills at all times
  • Maintains a neat and orderly work area
  • Performs other clerical duties such as mail handling, filing, preparing informational packets
  • Assists with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and ordering supplies
  • Attends in-service education programs
  • Maintains confidentiality of resident and facility information
  • Adheres to safety procedures and protects residents from neglect and abuse
  • Performs other duties as directed by supervisor or administrator
