Job Duties

  • Greet all customers entering the showroom
  • Acknowledge and smile at any customer within 10 feet while walking around the dealership
  • Ensure to follow the morning checklist to open and get the day started
  • Answer phone calls in a polite, professional tone and transfer calls to the correct employee
  • Take detailed messages with convenient time and number for return calls if the employee is unavailable
  • Stock new cars and assign stock numbers from Dealer Daily
  • Prepare new car jackets, stock tags and addendums
  • Tag keys when units are received
  • Prepare owner manual packets
  • Take keys to Service
  • File the manual
  • Purchase new units into the accounting system
  • Walk the showroom every 60 minutes to push in chairs, pick up trash, check the coffee area and refill as necessary
  • Prepare reports, correspondence and memos
  • Communicate with management whenever a concern or situation arises
