The Receptionist role at Bain Capital is essential in shaping the first impression and overall experience for employees, clients, and visitors. As the initial point of contact, this position demands a hospitality-focused professional committed to delivering exceptional service and representing the firm’s culture of excellence. This role involves providing a warm, polished, and seamless workplace environment by ensuring every guest receives a high-touch hospitality experience, including managing coat and bag storage, offering beverages, and addressing guest comfort needs. Working Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the receptionist will manage a high-volume of phone calls professionally, coordinate preclearance requests to facilitate smooth arrivals, and maintain an organized and presentable reception area. Additionally, the role includes providing coverage across reception desks as needed and partnering with colleagues on special projects to enhance the workplace environment.

Bain Capital values a professional appearance combined with a warm and service-oriented demeanor for this role. Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong verbal communication are crucial to confidently engage with diverse personalities in a fast-paced setting. Attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while taking initiative and supporting team needs are key traits for success. The firm looks for collaborative team players who contribute positively to the office culture. Experience in hospitality, customer service, or workplace experience roles, particularly in corporate environments, along with prior front-of-house or receptionist experience, is highly desired. Bain Capital offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 annually, with additional potential for discretionary bonuses based on individual and firm performance. The comprehensive benefits package is designed to support the health, financial security, family needs, and overall well-being of its employees. Committed to equal employment opportunity, Bain Capital fosters an inclusive workplace welcoming individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities.
