We are currently seeking a friendly, organized Receptionist to join our team. This role is critical as it serves as the first point of contact for many of our patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience from the moment they arrive. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to juggle multiple administrative tasks with accuracy and professionalism. In the Receptionist position, you will be responsible for greeting and checking in patients, answering phones, assisting with patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance eligibility, and processing copayments. This role also requires familiarity with medical and vision insurance practices and adherence to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality.

Job Requirements

  • Previous front desk or medical receptionist experience preferred
  • Familiarity with medical and vision insurance
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
