Job Description

AmeriVet is a well-established, busy veterinary practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate in-home veterinary care throughout Boston and MetroWest. Our practice prides itself on delivering thoughtful, personalized veterinary services directly in the comfort of our clients’ homes. We cover a wide range of services, from wellness visits and preventive care to comprehensive diagnostic workups including bloodwork and ultrasound, as well as hospice and end-of-life care. This integrated, client-focused approach allows us to build strong relationships with pet owners and offer tailored medical attention that aligns with each pet's unique needs. As a recognized leader in mobile veterinary care, AmeriVet fosters an environment that values empathy, professionalism, and innovation aimed at improving the health and well-being of pets and their families.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Receptionist/Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage essential front-office functions, including answering client communications via phone, email, and text. You'll play a crucial part in maintaining the smooth operation of our office by handling receptionist duties and performing accurate data entry across multiple software platforms. Confidence with technology and the ability to quickly learn new systems are vital, as this position involves coordinating client interactions, prioritizing urgent care needs, and ensuring timely responses in collaboration with our front desk team. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate patient records, setting up client and patient accounts, sending appointment reminders, and consistently providing a warm and welcoming experience with every interaction. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexible working hours depending on the day of the week and the needs of the practice. Compensation ranges from $24 to $26 per hour based on experience.

At AmeriVet, we are committed to your professional growth and well-being. We offer a supportive, friendly, and team-oriented work environment where your contributions truly matter. We empower our team members by providing resources and opportunities for development, fostering a culture of mentorship, career pathing, and continuous learning. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid vacation and holidays; 401(k) plans with employer match; discounted veterinary care for your own pets; and access to mental health resources to support your overall well-being. These benefits, alongside competitive pay and performance bonuses, underline our dedication to fostering a workplace where every employee feels valued and supported. If you’re passionate about helping animals and their owners while working in a rewarding and innovative environment, join us at AmeriVet and help make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
