The position at Fabick Cat involves serving as the frontline representative for the company, acting as a receptionist who greets and assists customers, employees, and visitors promptly and professionally. The role requires answering incoming phones, routing calls appropriately, and managing documents and inventory within the Fabick Cat database. This position also entails maintaining communication systems such as operating the console for Teams or Attendant and efficiently processing mail and departmental reports. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are critical to performing effectively in this role. The physical aspect of the job requires the ability to sit for extended periods, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds. Job Requirements
- High school education or GED equivalent
- minimum of 2 years experience as a receptionist
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to operate console for Teams/Attendant
- strong time management and organizational skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other business software

- ability to occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds

Job Duties
- Greet, provide assistance or information as needed to customers, employees and visitors
- answer phones, determine the nature of business and route callers to appropriate department or personnel
- scan documents by machine into database
- update inventory within the Fabick Cat database
- process mail and reports that come through the department
- any and all duties as assigned
