Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of general office experience including receptionist duties
- typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
- proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
- strong communication and organizational skills

- One year of general office experience including telephone receptionist work or equivalent training
- typing speed of 35 plus words per minute with good grammar and spelling skills
- knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook

Job Duties
- Opens front office and switchboard daily in accordance with office hours
- maintains front office appearance and cleanliness during office hours
- answers and routes incoming telephone calls to staff in a timely manner
- distinguishes between legitimate business calls and spam or phishing calls
- greets all visitors to the office in a friendly and professional manner
- acts as conduit between visitors and office staff, ensuring appropriate handling of visitors, vendors, and salespeople
- notifies staff in a timely manner regarding all deliveries made to the front office
- processes all incoming mail, opens and sorts mail for distribution, maintains a log of all incoming checks
- communicates with staff to maintain accurate phone lists for all offices and distributes information monthly
- responds to requests for job numbers and maintains a log of distributed numbers
- coordinates with Facilities to support large in-house meetings
- provides administrative support as needed for accounting, HR, and other departments with supervisor's approval
