The role of Receptionist 1 at CenterWell Jacinto City, located in Houston, TX, is pivotal in supporting the organization's day-to-day administrative and communication operations. The Receptionist 1 serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and callers, managing the switchboard, handling multi-line phone operations, and maintaining visitor logs with professionalism and attention to detail.
In this patient-facing role, the receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors warmly, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests to the appropriate departments or personnel. They manage routine inquiries related to the organization's location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and email addresses. Additionally, they perform a variety of administrative tasks including booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, and managing courier services. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year or more experience in healthcare or customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Proficiency in using phone systems and computer applications
- Ability to follow established policies and procedures
- Willingness to undergo tuberculosis screening as part of employment
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- One year or more of experience in healthcare setting preferred but not required
- Strong customer service background accepted including retail, hospitality, call centers

Job Duties
- Operate switchboard and multi-line phone system
- Maintain long-distance call logs

- Respond to routine inquiries from internal and external sources
