Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in customer service or receptionist role preferred
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- proficiency with telephone systems and basic office software
- excellent verbal and written communication skills

- physical capability to perform necessary tasks

Job Duties
- Manage the telephone and switchboard
- operate paging/telephone system as required
- answer calls timely and courteously
- direct calls promptly and accurately
- greet visitors upon entry courteously
- assist visitors by giving directions or contacting the person they have come to visit
- ensure all visitors/vendors sign in
- demonstrate customer service skills in every interaction via phone or in person by smiling, greeting people effectively, offering assistance, maintaining a neat and orderly work area, demonstrating awareness of environment and focusing attention on the front entrance
- perform other clerical duties as assigned such as assisting the administrator or others with special tasks or projects, performing mail handling and filing, preparing informational packets and brochures for visitors, assist with administrative duties including filing, posting accounts, and data entry, ordering supplies as directed, attending in-service education programs, being familiar with standard precautions, exposure control plan, fire drill and evacuation procedures, maintaining confidentiality of resident and facility records/information, protecting residents from neglect, mistreatment and abuse, protecting the personal property of residents, and others as directed by supervisor or administrator
