Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a receptionist or phone operator role preferred
- Proficiency with phone systems and basic office technology
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Basic computer literacy, including MS Office applications
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a busy office environment

- Previous experience in a similar front desk or switchboard role preferred
- Proficient in phone systems and basic office equipment
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
- Professional and courteous telephone manners
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Outlook)
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a busy environment
Job Duties
- Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls promptly, politely and professionally
- Provide callers with basic information such as office location, hours, and services
- Take accurate messages or route to voicemail when staff are unavailable
- Monitor and manage multiple phone lines simultaneously
- Maintain an up-to-date directory of staff extensions and contact details
- Notify appropriate personnel of incoming calls
- Report technical issues with the phone system to IT or the service provider
- Follow emergency and safety procedures when necessary
