- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Job Duties
- Check in surgery patients for same day surgery
- Prepare charts for next day surgery patients
- Interface with visitors, patients, family, and physicians on phone and in person
- Collect estimated patient liability as determined by insurance verification clerk
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-up calls
- Handle general administrative tasks such as filing and data entry
