Job Description

Spring Mountain Treatment Center is a renowned mental health facility located in Las Vegas, Nevada, specializing in behavioral health and addiction treatment services for individuals of all ages. Established as part of Spring Mountain Behavioral Services, this center has been a cornerstone of mental health support in the community since 2001. Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years relevant experience in a psychiatric setting or patient care preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • hands-on experience with office equipment
  • ability to be resourceful and proactive
  • must attend one full week of new employee orientation on day shift
  • must successfully pass background check including criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years relevant experience in a psychiatric setting or patient care preferred
  • strong communication skills including reading, writing, and speaking
  • ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • thorough knowledge of how to access local resources
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • hands-on experience with office equipment such as fax machines and printers
  • ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • ability to understand and honor hospital rules, regulations and policies
  • good leadership qualities including self-control, patience, and empathy

Job Duties

  • Consistently answers phones and directs calls to appropriate departments
  • files the daily visitor logs and patient specific visitor sign ins
  • distributes mail, receives UPS, FedEx, and other deliveries and ensures timely notification to appropriate departments
  • applies appropriate postage and logs postage usage
  • ensures proper payroll pick up procedures are followed
  • mails and ships items outside the facility
  • accurately records transports and walk-ins to assist departments with a visual of heavy traffic times
  • completes patient belongings forms timely and delivers to units
  • manages inquiry calls, ambulance and walk-in processes
  • appropriately routes discharge sheets and bed changes
  • manages calls during patient phone times
  • manages visitors on patient visits, therapy sessions or discharge
  • performs other duties as assigned or required by this position
