Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of phone systems and office software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience in clerical or receptionist role preferred
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Thorough understanding of the principles of best receptionist practices
- Knowledge of personal computers, e-mail accounts, software programs such as Word and Excel, and minor office machines such as fax and copier
- At least six months in a clerical position or successful completion of secretarial science program from an accredited school or college
Job Duties
- Greeting and assisting visitors, residents, family members, sales representatives, and providing information or directions
- Answering phone calls, taking and delivering messages
- Sorting incoming mail and processing outgoing mail
- Operating business office machines and telephone/paging systems
- Disbursing resident fund petty cash
- Receiving and providing receipts for payments made to the facility
- Assisting with administrative duties such as typing reports and correspondence, filing, and posting accounts
- Maintaining front office and lobby area
- Ensuring deliveries are picked up promptly
- Assisting in listening and reporting resident and family complaints
- Providing purchase of employee and guest meal tickets
- Taking inventory, ordering and dispersing office and central nursing supplies
- Assisting with the accounts payable process
- Maintaining the confidentiality of all residents and their care
