Job Requirements

  • one year of experience in clerical office work, reception, scheduling, or related field preferred
  • prior experience dealing with the public regularly and ability to demonstrate restraint and professionalism in delivering customer service
  • ability to read, speak, write, and follow oral and written directions
  • ability to fill out forms, keep accurate records and submit reports
  • computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • organizational skills
  • good phone technique
  • knowledge of basic office equipment such as multi-phone lines, fax machines, computers, typewriters, photocopiers

Job Duties

  • champion Pacific Retirement Services culture by ingraining mission, vision, and core values into the role
  • accept payment or bill accounts for additional services from residents and employees
  • answer phone and provide information or direct calls appropriately
  • assist and direct residents to appropriate departments or personnel
  • greet and assist visitors and prospective residents, provide brochures and collect forms
  • help provide security by screening all visitors, guests, vendors, contractors, employees, and residents
  • receive and send packages, distribute mail, and notify appropriate recipients
