Job Description

The Receptionist position serves as the first point of contact for all visitors and employees entering our premises. Unlike traditional receptionist roles centered mostly on phone management, this role focuses on providing a safe, organized, and friendly front desk environment. You will be responsible not only for visitor checks and safety compliance—including adherence to TSA security protocols—but also for maintaining a professional reception area that reflects our company’s standards.

Job Requirements

  • Onsite role at the front desk
  • Requires welcoming presence as the first point of contact for visitors and employees
  • Occasionally required to run errands for the needs of the company
  • Primarily located in an office setting, but will be required to venture into the warehouse and docks with company provided safety gear

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative, reception, or office support role preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools
  • Experience in Canva or similar tool helpful
  • Valid driver's license

Job Duties

  • Welcome visitors and employees with a friendly, professional attitude
  • Follow TSA security rules for everyone entering or leaving the building
  • Keep the front desk area safe, organized, and professional
  • Help plan and support company events so they run smoothly
  • Assist with scheduling and organizing for company meetings and gatherings
  • Set up meeting rooms with needed equipment and materials
  • Take clear meeting notes and share summaries when requested
  • Assist HR with interview scheduling and communications
  • Support onboarding activities, ensuring a positive employee experience
  • Help maintain training and onboarding documentation
  • Assist with filing, record keeping, and document organization
  • Support leadership team with expense reporting and other administrative tasks
  • Provide general office support as needed
