Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree GED
  • One to three years related experience and or training
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification where required
  • Must successfully complete all specified training programs
  • Able to read comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence
  • Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Able to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • Able to apply common sense understanding for detailed but uninvolved instructions
  • Able to operate telephone emergency call system monitoring board beeper photocopier
  • Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to three years related experience and or training
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification where required
  • Ability to read comprehend and write simple correspondence
  • Effective verbal communication in one-on-one and small groups
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition subtraction multiplication and division
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve simple problems
  • Proficiency in operating telephone emergency call systems monitoring boards beepers and photocopiers
  • Willingness to work various schedules and shifts as needed

Job Duties

  • Answers incoming telephone calls in a cheerful and marketing oriented way
  • Determines purpose of callers and forwards calls to appropriate personnel
  • Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to staff
  • Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when staff is unavailable
  • Answers general questions about the community and provides information
  • Welcomes on-site visitors and announces them to staff
  • Coordinates guestroom reservations
  • Maintains current list of hospitalized residents
  • Updates appointment calendars
  • Receives sorts and routes mail and publications
  • Distributes written communication and signs for deliveries
  • Maintains copy and fax machines and assists users
  • Creates and prints fax cover sheets memos and reports
  • Performs clerical duties including filing photocopying and collating
  • Orders receives and maintains office supplies
  • Collects rent checks and provides information to bookkeeping
  • Collects money for store purchases and meal tickets
  • May drive company vehicle for community errands
  • Performs other duties as assigned
