Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- three or more years of experience as a receptionist with at least two years using databases
- bilingual in Spanish and English
- proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and Publisher
- excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- ability to stay calm under pressure
- strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
- physical ability to perform office tasks including sitting, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 10 pounds
- ability to use office computer hardware and peripherals
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- three or more years receptionist experience including two or more years of database experience
- bilingual in Spanish and English
- proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Publisher, and Excel

Job Duties
- Greet and welcome visitors and callers warmly
- direct inquiries and notify parish personnel of visitor arrivals
- maintain security and manage the telephone system
- perform routine administrative and office support tasks
- maintain Mass Intentions records using Microsoft Excel
- count money and record receipts
- manage incoming and outgoing mail including mailing packages with postage
- replenish office supplies and maintain copy machines
- prepare weekly parish bulletin and coordinate with printing company
- maintain parishioner contacts and records
- process new member registration and update database
- prepare and mail sacramental certificates
- record sacraments in the sacramental register
- maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- support Faith Formation Coordinator with baptismal documents
- prepare security money bags
- maintain a neat and orderly workspace
- respond to sick calls for the priest appropriately
- communicate important information via email, phone, and mail promptly
- contribute to team efforts by accomplishing assigned tasks efficiently
