Job Requirements

  • Prior experience or education in dental or healthcare environment preferred

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Support the Perfect Patient Experience process by helping patients feel comfortable and connected during visits
  • Schedule appointments ensuring a smooth and productive day for healthcare providers
  • Interact and communicate professionally with patients and guests in the reception area
  • Answer telephones promptly and handle all calls efficiently and thoroughly
  • Complete daily tasks according to the front office checklist
  • Post payments to patient accounts following company policies
  • Act as subject matter expert for practice management systems related to patient registration and account accuracy
  • Efficiently manage patient check-in including consents and prompt notification to back-office staff
  • Confirm patient appointments at least two days in advance according to office confirmation policies
  • Return and resolve all patient messages from the Contact Center in a timely manner
  • Actively participate in daily morning huddles, team meetings and other required gatherings
  • Maintain thorough understanding of business imperatives and the role's impact on key metrics
  • Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand by making decisions consistent with brand framework
  • Support clinician efforts in patient education about the Mouth-Body Connection
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while addressing others respectfully
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory bodies
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
