Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- three or more years receptionist experience
- two or more years database experience
- bilingual in Spanish and English
- proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- strong telephone skills
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently
- ability to remain calm under pressure
- willingness to work evenings and weekends
- physical ability to perform light lifting, sitting, and standing for long periods
- ability to use office computer hardware and peripherals
- ability to communicate verbally and in writing
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- minimum three years receptionist experience
- at least two years database experience
- bilingual in Spanish and English
- proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Publisher

- ability to read and interpret basic correspondence

Job Duties
- Greet, welcome, and direct visitors
- notify parish personnel of visitors' arrival
- maintain security and telephone system
- perform routine administrative and office support services
- manage basic accounts and recordkeeping duties
- answer all phone calls and walk-ins with courtesy
- maintain Mass Intentions using Microsoft Excel
- count money and record receipts
- receive, open, and distribute mail and packages
- apply postage and prepare outgoing mail
- keep copy machines supplied and distribute related records
- place supply orders
- maintain parishioners contacts, files, and documents
- intake and process sick calls for the priest
- check and communicate mail, e-mail, phone messages, and prayer requests
- prepare weekly bulletin and transmit to printing company
- record new members and update church database
- prepare and mail Sacramental Certificates
- record Sacraments in registers
- maintain confidentiality
- prepare Baptismal documents
- prepare security money bags
- maintain a neat appearance and orderly workspace
- relate well with diverse persons including pastoral staff, church leaders, parishioners, and visitors
- clean and restock coffee supplies
