Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior course work or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred
- Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances

- Detail-oriented, organized, and computer proficient with comprehensive operational process knowledge

Job Duties
- Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
- Support the PPE process by helping to get patients to come into the office and ensuring their comfort during visits
- Schedule appointments that ensure each healthcare provider has a smooth, productive day
- Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area during their wait time
- Answer telephones promptly and handle calls efficiently and thoroughly
- Complete all tasks on the front office checklist daily
- Post payments to patient accounts according to company policies
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the practice management system for patient registration, e-check in, and account accuracy
- Efficiently check in patients, obtain necessary consents, and notify the back office of patient arrivals
- Confirm all patient appointments in compliance with office confirmation policies at least 2 days prior
- Ensure timely return and resolution of patient messages received from the Contact Center
- Participate actively in daily morning huddles, team meetings, and any additional required meetings
- Understand business imperatives and the role's impact on metrics
- Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand consistent with the brand framework
- Support clinicians on patient education about the Mouth-Body Connection
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor aligned with company policies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory bodies
- Perform other duties as assigned
