Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Completed secretarial science program or minimum of six months clerical experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Knowledge of post-acute care laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Understand and follow company policies
  • Ability to perform physical activities required of the role
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Display integrity and professionalism according to Life Care's Code of Conduct

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Knowledgeable of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person and via phone
  • Operate facility phone and paging system effectively
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients when necessary
  • Demonstrate dependable and regular attendance
  • Utilize reasoning skills and good judgment in decision making
  • Communicate and function productively as part of an interdisciplinary team
