Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completed secretarial science program or minimum of six months clerical experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Knowledge of post-acute care laws, regulations, and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality
- Understand and follow company policies
- Ability to perform physical activities required of the role
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Display integrity and professionalism according to Life Care's Code of Conduct
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Knowledgeable of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person and via phone
- Operate facility phone and paging system effectively
- Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients
- Assist in the evacuation of patients when necessary
- Demonstrate dependable and regular attendance
- Utilize reasoning skills and good judgment in decision making
- Communicate and function productively as part of an interdisciplinary team
