Job Requirements
- Certification in First Aid and CPR within 90 days of employment
- completion of Ascentria New Employee Orientation
- participation in additional training and certifications as assigned
- ability to sit for long periods and perform occasional light physical tasks
- capability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
- strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of three years experience in a busy reception or front desk environment
- basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- professional, positive, outgoing, and welcoming demeanor with strong problem-solving skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills including cultural competence and phone etiquette
- experience in multilingual or multicultural environments preferred
- ability to align with the agency mission of empowering individuals and strengthening communities
- punctuality and dependability
Job Duties
- Coordinate with identified staff to ensure continuous presence at the front desk
- greet and promptly triage all guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- triage incoming calls and voicemails to appropriate staff members in a timely fashion
- maintain front desk and common areas in good order with confidential materials secured
- monitor internal security equipment such as CCTV and access management systems
- follow proper mail processing protocols for incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- support and maintain shared office spaces, including inventory management of breakroom supplies
- issue and maintain logs for facility access resources such as keys and key fobs
- support and ensure familiarity with safety and security protocols
- perform other duties as assigned
