Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Phone experience preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of customer service principles and processes
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Proficient knowledge of phone usage
  • Proficient knowledge of copy machine operation
  • Proven knowledge of office procedures and basic arithmetic
  • Proficient command of English language
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
  • Answer incoming calls within two rings
  • Transfer all calls to the appropriate personnel
  • Check night messages first thing every morning and update night message as needed
  • Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access
  • Perform clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing
  • Sign for and record incoming packages
  • Distribute incoming mail and packages
  • Post and send outgoing mail and packages
  • Participate in special projects as needed
  • Distribute employee birthday gifts
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
