Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with a multiple-line busy switchboard
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to type at least 30 words per minute
  • Ability to communicate professionally in person, by telephone, and electronic means
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work in a busy office environment

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming calls and route them promptly and accurately to appropriate staff or voicemail
  • Greet visitors in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner
  • Ensure visitors sign in, receive parking authorization and name tags, and are escorted to staff
  • Support enrollment processes including ordering and verifying student transcripts and conducting verifications
  • Assist in planning and executing special admission events
  • Maintain appointment calendars for admissions, financial aid, and academic counseling
  • Confirm and reschedule appointments as required
  • Inventory and maintain marketing materials and promotional items
  • Perform data entry, scanning, email processing requests and follow-up
  • Assist with direct mail and bulk mail projects
  • Perform other related duties as needed
