Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to operate multi-line telephone console
- Experience in customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Willingness to comply with safety and procedural training
- Successful completion of pre-employment physical, physical abilities test, drug screen and criminal background clearance

- Experience operating multi-line telephone systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic clerical and computer proficiency
- Ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Attention to detail and accuracy in message taking and data entry
Job Duties
- Provides quality customer service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfaction
- Directs caller to destination and records name, time of call, nature of business, and person called upon
- Takes messages accurately including correct spelling of names and phone number
- Operates multi-line telephone console to receive incoming messages
- Greets incoming visitors, screens visitors in lobby if unfamiliar
- Uses multi-line telephones, telephone head set, calculator, fax machine, postal machine and copy machine proficiently
- May cash checks, sell stamps, bill residents for meal charges by entering data on computer system
- May sell meal tickets to employees and issue visitors pass when required
- May make guest room reservations
- Monitors fire alarms, calls emergency services if applicable and directs emergency personnel
- Keeps track of keys to residents, employees and vendors
- Performs variety of clerical duties, including projects for Executive Director, Marketing, Accounting and Activity Departments
- Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner and reports any safety hazards or accidents
- Attends all mandatory in-service meetings and complies with all department and facility policies and procedures
- Follows safe work habits to prevent injuries to self, residents, visitors or employees
