Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
  • Support the Perfect Patient Experience process by helping to get patients into the office and ensuring they are comfortable during their visit
  • Schedule appointments to ensure each healthcare provider has a smooth, productive day
  • Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area during their wait time
  • Answer telephones promptly and handle all calls with efficiency and thoroughness
  • Complete all tasks on the front office checklist daily
  • Post payments to patient accounts according to company policies
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the practice management system regarding patient registration, e-check in, and account accuracy
  • Efficiently check in patients, obtaining all necessary consents and notify the back office of patient arrivals and pertinent information
  • Confirm patient appointments at least two days in advance following office confirmation policies
  • Return and resolve all patient messages received from the Contact Center in a timely manner
  • Actively participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
  • Understand business imperatives and how the role impacts metrics
  • Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand in line with the brand framework
  • Support clinicians on patient education about the Mouth-Body Connection
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor according to company policies
  • Ensure compliance with company, state, federal, and other regulatory policies
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
