Job Requirements
- Experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- proficiency with office software (MS Office Suite) and phone systems
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment
- professional appearance and demeanor, with a customer-service-oriented attitude
- high school diploma or equivalent
- additional education or training in office management is a plus

Job Duties
- Greet and welcome visitors, guests and clients warmly and professionally
- answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system
- manage visitor check-ins and maintain security protocols for guests entering the premises
- listen and transcribe viewer comments, concerns and feedback and route to appropriate individuals
- provide information and answer general questions about programming, reception and upcoming events
- handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries efficiently
- maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked reception area
- perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing and photocopying
- support internal communication and assist with event coordination as needed
- assist with light administrative tasks for various departments when required
- gather information on community events and contribute to community event tracker
