Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior experience or training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred
- Knowledge of office practices and patient insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential patient information
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Job Qualifications

- Prior course work or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred
- Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurance

Job Duties
- Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
- Support the Perfect Patient Experience process by helping patients enter and feel comfortable in the office
- Schedule appointments to ensure smooth and productive days for healthcare providers
- Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area during their wait time
- Answer telephones promptly and handle calls efficiently and thoroughly
- Complete all tasks on the front office checklist daily
- Post payments to patient accounts following company policies
- Serve as a subject matter expert in practice management systems regarding patient registration, e-check-in, and accurate account information
- Efficiently check-in patients, obtain necessary consents, and promptly notify back office of patient arrivals and pertinent information
- Confirm patient appointments according to office policies at least 2 days in advance
- Return and resolve all patient messages from the Contact Center timely
- Participate actively in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
- Understand business imperatives and how the role impacts metrics
- Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand by making decisions consistent with the PDS Brand framework
- Support clinician efforts on patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor according to company policies and treat others respectfully
- Ensure compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
