Job Duties

  • Manages the telephone and switchboard including operating paging system
  • Answers calls timely and courteously
  • Directs calls promptly and accurately
  • Assists visitors upon arrival by greeting them courteously
  • Provides directions or contacts the person visitors intend to see
  • Ensures all visitors and vendors sign in
  • Demonstrates customer service skills in every interaction by smiling, greeting effectively, offering assistance, maintaining a neat workspace, and focusing attention on the front entrance
  • Performs clerical duties including assisting with mail handling, filing, preparing informational packets and brochures, data entry, ordering supplies, and attending in-service education programs
  • Complies with safety and confidentiality protocols
  • Protects residents from neglect, mistreatment, and abuse and safeguards their personal property
  • Completes additional tasks as directed by supervisor or administrator
