Job Requirements
- Must be a soon-to-be graduating Cosmetology or Barber student
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and peak periods
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills for transaction processing
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Commitment to maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in customer service or retail is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of salon operations or cosmetology is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team player mindset
Job Duties
- Warmly greet customers
- Communicate and educate customers on Great Clips processes including Online Check-in and the Wait Time Monitor
- Process transactions and issue receipts
- Provide general knowledge of retail products and make recommendations
- Manage the flow of customers between check-in and service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front desk and lobby area
- Manage answering phone calls
- Inform customers about services
- Update customer records with contact information
- Assist stylists in maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation
- Commit to working a flexible schedule including peak times
- Deliver great customer service
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Resolve customer issues effectively
