Job Requirements

Must be a soon-to-be graduating Cosmetology or Barber student
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and peak periods
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Strong communication skills
Basic math skills for transaction processing
Ability to stand for extended periods
Reliable and punctual
Commitment to maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in customer service or retail is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills including familiarity with point-of-sale systems
Knowledge of salon operations or cosmetology is a plus
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and team player mindset

Job Duties

Warmly greet customers
Communicate and educate customers on Great Clips processes including Online Check-in and the Wait Time Monitor
Process transactions and issue receipts
Provide general knowledge of retail products and make recommendations
Manage the flow of customers between check-in and service
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front desk and lobby area
Manage answering phone calls
Inform customers about services
Update customer records with contact information
Assist stylists in maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation
Commit to working a flexible schedule including peak times
Deliver great customer service
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Resolve customer issues effectively
