Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred
- Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances
- Energetic self-starter with goal-setting and prioritization skills
- Flexible and empathetic patient advocate
- Detail-oriented, organized, and computer proficient
- Financial acumen with understanding of profit drivers and market factors
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient records

Job Duties
- Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices
- Support the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) by helping to get patients into the office and ensuring their comfort during visits
- Schedule appointments efficiently to ensure smooth and productive days for healthcare providers
- Interact and communicate professionally with patients and guests in the reception area
- Answer telephones promptly and handle calls with efficiency
- Complete all front office checklist tasks daily
- Post payments to patient accounts in accordance with company policies
- Act as a subject matter expert in practice management system regarding patient registration and e-check-in
- Manage patient check-in process including obtaining consents and notifying back office of arrivals
- Confirm all patient appointments at least two days in advance following office policies
- Respond to and resolve patient messages received from the Contact Center promptly
- Participate actively in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
- Understand business imperatives and the role’s impact on operational metrics
- Uphold the PDS Brand framework in decision-making
- Support clinician efforts in patient education related to the Mouth-Body Connection
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor consistent with company policies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
