Job Requirements

  • Active enrollment in cosmetology or barbering school
  • Scheduled graduation from cosmetology or barbering school
  • Ability to communicate clearly and warmly with customers
  • Capability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Flexibility to work during peak salon hours
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Job Qualifications

  • Must be an active student currently enrolled in cosmetology or barber school
  • Scheduled to graduate from cosmetology or barbering school soon
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Basic knowledge of retail products used in salons
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Previous experience in customer service is a plus

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet customers
  • Communicate and educate customers on Great Clips processes, Online Check-in, and the Wait Time Monitor
  • Process transactions and issue receipts
  • Possess general knowledge of retail products and make recommendations
  • Manage the flow of customers between check-in and service
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front desk and lobby area
  • Manage answering phone calls
  • Inform customers about services
  • Update customer records with contact information
  • Assist stylists in maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation
  • Work a flexible schedule, including peak times
  • Dedicate to providing great customer service
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Resolve customer issues effectively
