Job Requirements
- Active enrollment in cosmetology or barbering school
- Scheduled graduation from cosmetology or barbering school
- Ability to communicate clearly and warmly with customers
- Capability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to work during peak salon hours
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Job Qualifications
- Must be an active student currently enrolled in cosmetology or barber school
- Scheduled to graduate from cosmetology or barbering school soon
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Basic knowledge of retail products used in salons
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Previous experience in customer service is a plus
Job Duties
- Warmly greet customers
- Communicate and educate customers on Great Clips processes, Online Check-in, and the Wait Time Monitor
- Process transactions and issue receipts
- Possess general knowledge of retail products and make recommendations
- Manage the flow of customers between check-in and service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front desk and lobby area
- Manage answering phone calls
- Inform customers about services
- Update customer records with contact information
- Assist stylists in maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation
- Work a flexible schedule, including peak times
- Dedicate to providing great customer service
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Resolve customer issues effectively
