The role of Receptionist at Arrow Senior Living’s The Rushwood community, located in Wichita, KS, is a part-time position critical to creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for residents, visitors, and team members alike. Employing a starting wage of $15.00 per hour, this position is designed for individuals who thrive in dynamic, personable environments and enjoy being the frontline representation of a reputable senior living community. The Rushwood offers shift schedules primarily on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm, with every other weekend day also included, enabling candidates to maintain work-life balance.
As the "First Face" of The Rushwood, the Receptionist assumes the vital role of greeting and assisting guests, residents, vendors, and employees with exceptional customer service. Responsibilities extend beyond greeting visitors to encompass being a knowledgeable guide, answering inquiries both in-person and over the phone, and supporting the administrative team by completing tasks that ensure daily operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, a positive attitude, and effective communication skills to efficiently manage administrative duties and handle various inquiries with warmth and competence. Physical requirements include the ability to frequently lift or move items up to 25 pounds, and the role involves active engagement through standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping, with periodic sedentary periods.

Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- high school diploma or equivalent
- clear verbal and written communication skills
- able to follow written and verbal directions and apply practical problem-solving skills
- positive and energetic attitude
- professional in appearance and conduct
- ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds
- criminal background cleared
- good physical health verified by recent health screening including tuberculosis test
- ability to perform active physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping
- ability to retrieve items from storage including overhead bins or cabinets

Job Duties
- Be the first face of the community greeting and assisting visitors and residents
