Job Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have at least one-year work experience in a clinical setting or customer service role
- Must have exceptional customer service skills
- Familiarity with insurance benefits is a plus
- Must be computer literate with basic knowledge of MS Office and office machines
- Must have the ability to multi-task
- Must work well in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel between clinic locations
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or company

Job Duties
- Greet customers in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner
- Provide necessary instructions and directions
- Inform appropriate department or person of customer arrival
- Update patient information such as insurance cards, driver's license, authorizations, and referrals
- Administer tablets for completion of personal health information including privacy policies and financial policies
- Collect co-payments, deductibles, and outstanding balances
- Give detailed explanation of benefits and financial agreements
- Answer phones pleasantly and address customer needs promptly
- Schedule follow-up appointments as required by physician teams
- Enter charges into computer system
- Print charge tickets and paperwork for "next day clinic"
- Balance daily collections with time of service payment, summary report, and prepare deposit slip
- Carry out daily actions related to hold and practice buckets
- Accept deliveries, log, and distribute to appropriate parties
